Rose Garden, Juliet-CA

The California grown Juliet garden rose is one of the most popular David Austin® garden rose varieties available today. The soft, peachy-apricot shades. Juliet has large, cupped rosette flower heads that open to reveal many perfectly arranged petals nestled in the heart of each bloom. Light fragrant notes of lilac and sweet vanilla fill the room. This soft delicate bloom makes it the perfect garden rose for a wide variety of special occasions and events. We suggest you place your order at least 2 weeks in advance during wedding season. These can arrive on a Wednesday or Thursday for a Saturday wedding or event. Garden roses come with 12 stems in a bunch. Vase life is around one week. Allow up to 2 days to open, we recommend delivery 4 days before your event.

Once the roses arrive:

  1. Unpack your roses as soon as possible.
  2. Keep the packaging in place, to support the stems during hydration.
  3. Cut about 1″ from the base of each stem.
  4. Place the stems in water with flower food to aid hydration, improve opening and increase vase life.
  5. Rehydrate stems for 4-6 hours in the coolest place possible.
  6. After hydration, remove all packaging. Space the stems in the buckets of water to make room for the blooms to open. Retain guard petals as they will disappear as the bloom opens.
  7. Place the stems in an ambient room temperature to encourage opening.
  8. Opening will take about 2 days. Once opened, place back in a cool area until you are ready to work with them.
